Tuesday Madness

Why Tuesday madness?
This is why!

This is Pumpernickel otherwise known as Pumper. She is a rescue cat from our neighbor's back yard. We have a male Tabby same coloring I think they thought she is his offspring. NO. Moo (our male) is fixed so that can't be.

Pumber had many broken ribs a crimped tail no nails and was very sick .

As she uses me for a climbing post this morning I almost wonder why we rescued her. Her Nails grew out and she is as feisty as can be.

She is as sweet as can be most of the time. Our other cat Moo is jealous. Were waiting for the second set of shots to expose the two of them. Wish us luck!

NOW on to the real reason for this post some of my latest artwork created as the new kitten distracts me.

From Close to my Heart:Key to My Heart

Colors: CremeBrule, Tulip Juniper and Juniper ( my new favorite colors)

I wanted to post these before they go off in the mail this morning on my way to work.
Till next time,
Keep stamping and Creating.

Day 7

…"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. You are the guy who'll decide where to go.' Dr. Suess

Isn't this a fun quote?

My feet are taking me on the treadmill!!

Day 6

This quote gives me so much to think about.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Marianne Williamson

On this page I made my own background paper by stamping with several of the stamps in the Serendipity set. This technique is called random stamping one of my favorites. I find it relaxing to stamp many images. It is always a surprise how beautiful it turns out.

I am now up to 40 min on the treadmill how exciting is that!!

Day 5

"A wish changes nothing, A decision changes everything," unknown

So true! I made my decsion to become heathier! Hidden behind the frame is a message to my self about my decision.

DAy 3

Day three…"The three great essentials to achieve anything worth while are, first, hard work; second, stick-to-itiveness; third, common sense." Thomas A. Edison

Day 1

Day One has come and gone and yes, I stuck to my goals .Under the quote are my goals or my HOW I don't mind sharing

Goal 1. I will put my self first.

Goal 2 I will tract my progress on www.sparkspeople.com.

Goal 3 I will exercise at least 10 min each day and also tract that.

Goal 4 I will drink 8 glasses of water each day.

My unoficial goal is I give my self permission to create each day.

Another Birthday around the corner!

Yes another year older!

I've been sitting on my behind too much and my gym membership is collecting dust.

As one comedian calls it Fat tax!! To pay for a gym membership and not go, yes crazy!!

Enough of that! I renewed my interest in http://www.sparkspeople.com/ and vow to be more active.

I have pulled out a project I started 1 year ago called 21 days why 21 days?
It takes 21 days to make a habit so today is Day number 1!! This web page http://www.iamthankful.com/science/21-days-to-form-a-habit-you-can-do-it
that I found that explains this and helped me understand goal setting.

This will be a booklet that I can refer to on my quick 21 day journey to begin to get healthy. I have daily inspiration on each days page and I will journal with hidden journals for thoughts and goals.

I created this from last years serendipity paper pack and stamp set. Although this set is not available for purchase we have several similar flower sets.Colors: all CTMH: Dutch blue, Chocolate, Bamboo and Daisy white.

Stamps:CTMH Serendipity, Rustic numbers and June.

I used my cricut and cuttlebug to create the frame and emboss.

I also used a technique we call kissing to create the texture on the rustic numbers.

Here I used some computer journaling using my rbc codes to make the printer ink coordinate with my CTMH papers. This page is my goals and my why, next I will journal my How with my graphs of measurments and perhaps other goals I am going to avoid the scale it make me crazy!!

It's so hard when I have to and so easy when I want to. ~Annie Gottlier

Isn't that the truth?

I would so much rather do my creative things then scrub and clean, but can I create in a dis-organized area? No it disrupts the flow. I have to stop and say where did I put that______ ?

I'm off to pick up my wonderful daughter from her camp today then the plan is to return and purge!

Then I can be free to create once again!
This lovely card was created with CTMH card stock and inks and the scallop edge is from a cut file from this wonderfully creative woman. I won her blog challenge with this cut file. http://capadiadesigns.blogspot.com/search/label/blog%20challenge
here is the cut file make sure to thank her if you decide to down load this file.

Welcome to my blog!

Just to get my blog started I wanted to share a scan of my latest creation. This will soon to be off in the mail to my daughter who is away at camp. I know its only a week... but they do love to get mail.
This card is created with some wonderful spring papers found at Joann's for a price i could afford.
It matches the wonderful Close to my Heart inks and papers.
Black, Dutch blue and Citrus Green.
The paper sparkles with glitter that does not show up here. It is so beautiful live.
Stay tuned for more art work I am on a roll
